N/B UP Autorack Train |
| Description: |
A westbound (UPRR northbound") autorack train bound for West Colton makes its way down Cajon Pass with UP SD70ACe-T4 3045 and SD70ACe 8414 at the front and AC44CWCTE 5903 at the rear. Because this was my first time seeing a Tier 4 ACe and on-point, I chased it down to Hesperia, Summit, and Mormon Rocks. While I did beat it to Swarthout Canyon, I ended up waiting at the wrong crossing, as it took the Cajon Subdivision instead of the Palmdale Cutoff. At least I got some great photos of it from where I caught it. |
